Your role

Are you a talented young professional? Are you keen on following the markets and working in a global team?

We’re looking for someone like that who can:

  • Manage the liquidity and funding for UBS Group and for its entities, proactively keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities in European time zone;
  • ensure sufficient funding capacity (inclusive of intraday) to support our client flows from all business functions (G11 and EM currencies);
  • work and collaborate with colleagues locally, regionally and globally across different functions to enhance systems and improve processes;
  • manage the projection of scarce resources, provide daily updates to management on cash forecasts and work towards solutions to optimize current usage for all areas of UBS globally;
  • manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk and compliance risk;
  • follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies.

Your team

You’ll be working in Group Treasury (GT), in Funding Management (Cash Management) where you will be part of a global team, performing a crucial run-the-bank activity, managing firm-wide day to day flows of cash and consequent portfolio risk, managing liquidity to meet regulatory requirements and servicing the funding needs of our internal clients. The risk positions of GT are impacted by nearly every market risk factor and the applicant must combine ability to trade with the capacity to understand how a Bank balance sheet operates.

Your expertise

  • A degree education or equivalent in a financial or analytical subject would be desirable;
  • prior work experience in a financial industry. Experience in trading or risks management or treasury a plus;
  • background knowledge of Fixed Income and Money Market Products, with experience in FX/IR derivatives, Funds Transfer Pricing, cash flow forecasting, liquidity metrics, cash management and intraday liquidity management a plus;
  • knowledge /experience in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, Python or market data applications would be a plus.

  • self-starter, as well as a committed team player with good interpersonal skills and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced environment;
  • able to work under pressure and quickly assess the risk vs. reward of a trade/decision;
  • a critical thinker capable of understanding complex numerical and analytical processes with attention to detail;
  • fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
